Astronomy Club was founded fourteen years ago. At first, it’s attached to Nature Science Club. In 1991 our senior at school aspired the desire for the deeper knowledge and left Nature Science Club.

    The ordinary of us often hold observations for special astronomical phenomena like the transiting of Mars, meteor etc. During the observation, we’ll teach the members of our club the way to know stars and the skill of using the equipment. If the trainee is interested in photography, we also teach him the knowledge of Astronomical photography and let him shoot pictures. We prepare the teaching to help our junior at school realize the secret of universe.

    Besides, beyond the foundation of work together for long, the senior high Astronomy Clubs in central Taiwan have already organized an Astronomical organization. “Sing Chung Whei.” So far the members of that are TCFSH, TGSH, WHSH, MDSH, TCSSH. We hold several big activities every year. Not only Astronomical knowledge to each other but also let the students who love Astronomy have the chance to interflow.

    During the past fourteen years and with all previous efforts, many things have become steady. Today, Astronomical education gradually sprouted. We’re the group of roamers who won’t forget our mission. “Extend Astronomy.” We expect you can join us to admire the stars and discover limitless mystery.
